Blog Intro

So, here I am again "WORLD." My name is Lesli Cuamani. Too bad I don't have a middle name, that would've been cool :( ! The school I currently attend is Information Technology High School. I have been in this school for almost 4 years, so as you can see, I'm a 12th grader (senior year). Since there are 2 CTE Academies in this school, Video and Web Design, I am currently enrolled in the Web Design academy. I guess at first when I started off in this academy, I had no real idea as to why I specifically joined this course. But as these past 2 years filled with experience had passed by, I had learned to code a lot and create visual designs on Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am interested in this computer science field of study because of its complex and diverse structure. There is literally so much to learn and so many ways to get to a result. There are so many beautiful things I can code that can be later be used for future personal use as well as professional. I'll be able to create my own websites, apps, etc.
My hobbies are to watch anime, read manga, eat various sorts of plates from different restaurants/cultures, and cook. Although my hobbies do sound a bit "basic," I really enjoy doing what I do to spend time. Aside from my hobbies, I also have several dreams that at one point I see myself accomplishing. One of my biggest dreams is to successfully get into Baruch College or NYU and pursue my business career. I hope to one day graduate from college with 2 majors and maybe some minors and consequently begin working to earn money. After my college experience, I dream to financially support my family at some point, so that I feel really good inside about myself. To know I'm able to give back to both my parents would literally mean the world to me. Last but not least, my goal for this school year is to pass all of my classes this year, learn more about javascript, and also have my college process done in time and correctly. My goal for this class itself is to able to understand every concept and being able to do my work by myself without too much peer help.
