Lab 5 Reflection

Continuing what Lab 4 previously was, Lab 5 was somewhat the same thing yet more to use for in detail review. Lab 5 was named as JavaScript Review because Mrs. Ramirez gave use literally 5 different aspects of troubleshooting and to make buttons and forms work with JS. She gave us one piece of code after every 20 minutes in class to try and figure out whether we could make the code function or not. This was a way to test our persistence and ability to find errors in our coding. It was definitely a lot of practice to me because I was struggling with setting up simple JS related in my coding and going through this lab, it made me realize how much more I have yet to learn and improve on. The first part of the lab was to have a certain text disappear or change when pressing on a button using JS. The second part was to make sure the JS will add up the numbers and variables that are given in the code and will display the correct result on the website. The third part was to create a list using JS; you know it is working fine by troubleshooting it and actually appears as a list on the website. The fourth part was to create a form which you would type in a number and given three different buttons, you can convert it to either a hexadecimal, binary, or octal; it would tell you through a pop-up window. The last part of the lab was to enter a certain amount of cents and in a pop-up window, it would tell how much those cents are in dollars.
I would use these skills in future labs/projects, my career, and outside of school.
