Lab 15 Reflection

  Javascript30 is an intense coding program which is free and anybody can join. It is designed to be able to complete 30 days worth of several Javascript aspects and skills in the matter of 30 hours or so. We had to watch a video for each day, which in them the guy would explain step by step to have the various skills of Javascript to function properly on any HTML Page. Then right after, we would have to download the starter kit in order to get the same files and work on it so that the javascript functions work based on the video. Lab 15 was using both Javascript and CSS styling in order to make a clock; this lab is basically creating a live clock based on present time and having it work as seconds go by. It's literally a clock online. The thing is that one may get confused because both minute and hour hands look about the same length and people might get confused when looking at it. I would if I saw this for the first time. Aside though, it was a pretty simple and quick lab as we only had to create a div and decorate it so that it could look presentable and pretty. Everyone customized their clock differently.
  Overall, this lab was very simple yet sort of difficult. I personally added a moving stars gif as the background and changed the fonts as well as the colors of it. The styling was made by me. It was some sort of practice given to us by the teacher so that our knowledge in programming keeps expanding and whatnot. It was actually really fun doing this as we got to be creative. I will try to add this sort of practice in my future labs, projects or index for either or. The skills to be original will be needed in future jobs and opportunities.

Lab 29 Reflection

 Lab 29 was the sixteenth video to the whole Javascript30 series and what I have to do for this one was to have text where it would have many different shades of colors to it when moving the mouse all over the page. So basically, I customized the website so that it would have the word "WOAH!" and many different colors that would go with the background gif I found on the internet. The background gif actually comes from a tv show I used to watch and its pig that blinks named Waddles. I really like how Waddles is right in the middle giving this simple website some color and vibrant vibes. The pink header fit in with my background perfectly and having the words be of various other colors, it was able to stand out from the almost dominant pink background.    Overall, this lab was fairly simple and easy to finish in my opinion. Dropbox Trip Reflection Journal 04/24

    So, while sophomores were taking PSATS and juniors were also taking SATS, a couple of us lucky Web seniors were able to go on an exciting trip to Dropbox. It was located near 23rd street on either the E or M train, which was very convenient for all of us. We had to be there at around 12:45pm, which was not possible and ended up getting there a little after 1. It affected us negatively as we were behind schedule, as well the Dropbox people said, so couldn't fully enjoy their working space and environment.     We got to the building and Dropbox was located on one of the floors. The other floors were also occupied by other companies such as SoundCloud, which I found to be very cool. Anyways, we take the elevator to go up to them and are greeted by this nice and warm lobby. Lab 17 Reflection

It is designed to be able to complete 30 days worth of several Javascript aspects and skills in the matter of 30 hours or so. We had to watch a video for each day, which in them the guy would explain step by step to have the various skills of Javascript to function properly on any HTML Page. Lab 17 was the fourth video to this whole series and basically all you had to do was check the console of the page. You can check my right clicking on the mouse or using two fingers on a mac and you'll see some sort of tabs pop-up. You would click on the one that says "Inspect" and you'll be able to thoroughly look through the code and the console itself. In the coding, I wrote a lot about people's first and last name and years; it was a lot of information and you won't see this on the page but the console, which stores data.
