Lab 37 Reflection

Lab 37 was the 24th video to the whole Javascript30 series and what I have to do for this one was to create a website that would be responsive as to when you start to scroll down, the navigation bar would follow at the same time. That is why I guess they called this lab "Sticky Navigation". So using the video, I personalized my heading and added somewhat of random information into the middle section of the website in order to have something to read to while scrolling to see what the navigation bar does. This trait can become useful as to when you keep scrolling and if the text were to be very long, then, you can click on either of the links (buttons) or the button that brings you to the top of the page again. It saves the user time from scrolling all the way up again, which becomes annoying. Using this would save time and help the user.
   Overall, this lab was very impressive to work with. Following along the video for this lab did take time since I would get lost here and there. But when I finally saw what this lab does, I was highly motivated and determined to add this sort of trait to my other future sites. This is very useful as I will be able to bring upon a great responsive site for whoever uses my site and make the user like it more with the way the navigation bar follows. I never would have thought I'd be able to do something like this until now.

Lab 29 Reflection

 Lab 29 was the sixteenth video to the whole Javascript30 series and what I have to do for this one was to have text where it would have many different shades of colors to it when moving the mouse all over the page. So basically, I customized the website so that it would have the word "WOAH!" and many different colors that would go with the background gif I found on the internet. The background gif actually comes from a tv show I used to watch and its pig that blinks named Waddles. I really like how Waddles is right in the middle giving this simple website some color and vibrant vibes. The pink header fit in with my background perfectly and having the words be of various other colors, it was able to stand out from the almost dominant pink background.    Overall, this lab was fairly simple and easy to finish in my opinion. Dropbox Trip Reflection Journal 04/24

    So, while sophomores were taking PSATS and juniors were also taking SATS, a couple of us lucky Web seniors were able to go on an exciting trip to Dropbox. It was located near 23rd street on either the E or M train, which was very convenient for all of us. We had to be there at around 12:45pm, which was not possible and ended up getting there a little after 1. It affected us negatively as we were behind schedule, as well the Dropbox people said, so couldn't fully enjoy their working space and environment.     We got to the building and Dropbox was located on one of the floors. The other floors were also occupied by other companies such as SoundCloud, which I found to be very cool. Anyways, we take the elevator to go up to them and are greeted by this nice and warm lobby. Lab 17 Reflection

   Javascript30 is an intense coding program which is free and anybody can join. It is designed to be able to complete 30 days worth of several Javascript aspects and skills in the matter of 30 hours or so. We had to watch a video for each day, which in them the guy would explain step by step to have the various skills of Javascript to function properly on any HTML Page. Lab 17 was the fourth video to this whole series and basically all you had to do was check the console of the page. You can check my right clicking on the mouse or using two fingers on a mac and you'll see some sort of tabs pop-up. You would click on the one that says "Inspect" and you'll be able to thoroughly look through the code and the console itself. In the coding, I wrote a lot about people's first and last name and years; it was a lot of information and you won't see this on the page but the console, which stores data.
