Lab 39 Reflection

Lab 39 was the 26th video to the whole Javascript30 series and what I have to do for this one was to create a website that would have three different words highlighted. When your mouse hovers over the words, a tab of information or a table would pop up at the same time. The way this information immediately pops up is due to the following of the mouse which executes the action. I used a nice wavey blue gif to bring some sort of soothing feeling onto my site. No lie, I was feeling pretty relieved making this website knowing I only had 4 more sites to go. I used very basic and typical font colors. For the words that were highlighted, I used a yellow color because I felt it would stand out in the blue background. I wrote things that I favored to just give it a more personal touch.
   Overall, this lab was actually useful and cool. I am hoping to integrate this sort of theme or skills to plenty of my future works as it is a very nice way of having the website be responsive. I have never imagined myself creating these sort of interactive sites but now that I am, I feel very accomplished and proud. Couldn't have finished without the javascript30 video though.

Lab 29 Reflection

 Lab 29 was the sixteenth video to the whole Javascript30 series and what I have to do for this one was to have text where it would have many different shades of colors to it when moving the mouse all over the page. So basically, I customized the website so that it would have the word "WOAH!" and many different colors that would go with the background gif I found on the internet. The background gif actually comes from a tv show I used to watch and its pig that blinks named Waddles. I really like how Waddles is right in the middle giving this simple website some color and vibrant vibes. The pink header fit in with my background perfectly and having the words be of various other colors, it was able to stand out from the almost dominant pink background.    Overall, this lab was fairly simple and easy to finish in my opinion. Dropbox Trip Reflection Journal 04/24

    So, while sophomores were taking PSATS and juniors were also taking SATS, a couple of us lucky Web seniors were able to go on an exciting trip to Dropbox. It was located near 23rd street on either the E or M train, which was very convenient for all of us. We had to be there at around 12:45pm, which was not possible and ended up getting there a little after 1. It affected us negatively as we were behind schedule, as well the Dropbox people said, so couldn't fully enjoy their working space and environment.     We got to the building and Dropbox was located on one of the floors. The other floors were also occupied by other companies such as SoundCloud, which I found to be very cool. Anyways, we take the elevator to go up to them and are greeted by this nice and warm lobby. Lab 17 Reflection

   Javascript30 is an intense coding program which is free and anybody can join. It is designed to be able to complete 30 days worth of several Javascript aspects and skills in the matter of 30 hours or so. We had to watch a video for each day, which in them the guy would explain step by step to have the various skills of Javascript to function properly on any HTML Page. Lab 17 was the fourth video to this whole series and basically all you had to do was check the console of the page. You can check my right clicking on the mouse or using two fingers on a mac and you'll see some sort of tabs pop-up. You would click on the one that says "Inspect" and you'll be able to thoroughly look through the code and the console itself. In the coding, I wrote a lot about people's first and last name and years; it was a lot of information and you won't see this on the page but the console, which stores data.
