CyberSecurity Classes at QCC

Well, starting from October in 2017 to June 2017 during my Junior Year of High School, Sebastian, Edder, Samip, Tsering, Jose, Malik, and myself participated in a CyberSecurity College Class at Queensborough Community College. This opportunity was given to us by Mrs. Ramirez and we attended every Saturday from about 9 in the morning to I believe 3pm. It was a lot of fun; we were actually treated as college students which I found somewhat scary. We got the experience and a whole lot more knowledge on the inner part of routers, hubs, pcs, and whatnot. We were able to play around on the Terminal and figure out how is it that computers are able to 'ping' one another on the same router and switch.
Out of this very long and extensive course, I realized how much more information a college course gives and how to handle it. Since I like to sleep a lot during class, I have to cut that habit in College in order to succeed in my classes. I really liked the professors, they were quite nice. I do miss these days but I'm glad I got the most out of this experience as possible. It motivated me to pursue a Computer Science related major as Business was the only major in mind.
