WBL Workshop #6

Image result for mock interview

This workshop was a bit unexpected in my opinion because I already have done a few real interviews before this mock one that took place in the CCEC, but it turned out to be useful in the end. This workshop was a mock interview where I would be interviewed by a teacher, in this case Mr. Monzingo and he would ask a series of questions and I should be able to answer them with the upmost confidence. I realized that I still jumble up some of my thoughts and spit out incoherent sentences, and I should always stay calm and talk slowly, so the interviewer can understand what I'm saying and I can gather my thoughts as well. While I was watching some peers be interviewed, I noticed that some of them didn't take it seriously or they were saying things that were irrelevant to the questions and thought that in real life, this wouldn't slide. Interviews, not matter the circumstance should always be taken seriously, or otherwise, no one would learn how to act in a proper interview. I really learned valuable life skills in this workshop, especially after the teachers told us how to improve and what type of vocab to use as well.
